On the occasion of World Bicycle Day 2026, MY Bharat Karimganj (under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India), in collaboration with the Netaji Sporting Club, is organizing a district-level Cycle Rally in Karimganj, Assam.

The primary objective of this initiative is to promote the vision of a healthier India under the Fit India Movement, while raising awareness about environmental sustainability, eco-friendly transportation, and personal well-being among the youth.

The rally will bring together aound 100 enthusiastic student volunteers (Class VIII and above) from Shyam Sunder Vidya Mandir School, alongside local youth leaders and sports advocates. Navigating a route from the school premises to Ambedkar Park near the DC Office complex, the event stands as a collective community drive to inspire citizens to adopt cycling as a lifestyle choice for a greener tomorrow.
