When you use the MY Bharat portal or portals that are integrated with MY Bharat , referred to as the MY Bharat ecosystem, some personal information is collected from and about you. We are committed to protecting the security of this information and safeguarding your privacy. This privacy policy sets out the details of the personal information collected, the manner in which it is collected, by whom, as well as the purposes for which it is used. By registering on MY Bharat , you are agreeing to the terms of this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy may be revised from time to time, and you will be notified of all such changes. In order to use MY Bharat , you are agreeing to the terms of the Privacy Policy.

1. INFORMATION COLLECTED
- When you use MY Bharat , the following information is collected from you at various stages – (i) Name (ii) Email (iii) Mobile number (iv) Date of Birth (v) Gender (vi) Current Location (vii) Highest Qualification (viii) Marksheets (ix) Degree/Diploma/Certificate (x) Internship and volunteering certificate, (xi) Academic Institution Details, (xii) Membership (if any, viz., NYKS, NSS, NCC), (xiii) Blood Group, (xiv) ID Type; (xv) Photo ID Number, and (xvi) Photograph, (xvii) Membership/Public ID number (in case of the organization), etc.
- You can sign in on MY Bharat through NSSO.
- National Single Sign-On (NSSO) will verify your identity. Once this is done, you may proceed to participate in any task.
2. USE OF INFORMATION
- The personal information collected from you under Clause 1 above will be stored securely and only be used by the Partners, which include the Government of India or State Governments, Academic Institutions, Government Organizations, Public Sector Units, Private Companies, MSME, NGOs, to assess the profile of the candidate with respect to the opportunity/task offered by them and to track the progress of the candidate and distribute reward points.
- MeriPehchaan is the National Single Sign-On (NSSO) authentication platform used in accordance with government guidelines. To learn more about the NSSOs policy regarding the information collected during registration, please refer to https://meripehchaan.gov.in/welcome/terms.
- The information collected in Clause 1 will also be used to generate digital certificates for the participation of the youth in various activities and upon completion of activities/tasks, and for facilitating the downloading of the certificate.
- The cumulative statistical information collected may also be used for generating reports, heat maps, and other statistical visualizations to draw insights about the MY Bharat program.
- The MY Bharat system is regularly audited by auditors of Cert-In empanelled agencies .
- The MY Bharat system also takes feedback about system performance and beneficiary experience.
3. RETENTION
- All personal information collected from you under Clause 1 will be retained for as long as your account remains in existence, and your sign-in information will be retained.
- All personal information collected under Clause 1 will be retained on the Application Server.
- Nothing set out herein shall apply to the anonymized, aggregated datasets generated by the personal data of registered users of MY Bharat or any reports, heat maps, or other visualization created using such datasets.
4. RIGHTS
- As a registered user, you have the right to access your profile at any time to add, remove or modify any registration information that you have supplied.
- If you no longer wish to use MY Bharat , you are free to delete your account.
