Pledge taking on Energy Saving by NSS Volunteers on 23.5.2026 at Choudhary Ishwar singh Kanya Mahavidyalya Fatehpur-pundri . Objective: The main objective of the activity was ➢ To create awareness among students regarding the importance of energy conservation and ➢ To motivate them to adopt energy-saving habits in daily life for environmental sustainability under Mission LiFE. Description of Activity: The NSS Cell organized a pledge-taking activity on energy saving in the college campus. The programme started with an awareness talk on the importance of conserving electricity and natural resources. Volunteers were informed about simple energy-saving practices such as switching off lights and fans when not in use, using LED bulbs, minimizing wastage of electricity, and promoting sustainable lifestyles. Pledge: “We pledge to use energy responsibly, avoid wastage of electricity, adopt energyefficient practices, and contribute towards environmental protection for a sustainable future.”
