The Faculty of Public Health, in association with the NSS Unit, Poornima University, organized an HPV Vaccination Awareness Session on 28th January, 2026. The session was conducted by Dr. Manila Nainawat, Gynaecologist, Fortis Hospital, Jaipur, to spread awareness about HPV, cervical cancer prevention, and the importance of vaccination.

Dr. Nainawat explained HPV infection, risk factors, vaccine eligibility, safety, and preventive benefits while addressing common myths and concerns. The interactive session encouraged participants to ask questions regarding vaccination and healthcare decisions.

A total of 58 students, faculty, and staff members attended the session. Feedback was highly positive, with participants appreciating the informative guidance and clarity on vaccine safety. Overall, the session successfully promoted preventive healthcare awareness and encouraged informed health decisions.
