A CPR Training Session titled “Save a Heart Before Help Arrives” was successfully organized at MVGR College of Engineering, Vizianagaram, under the aegis of NSS–MVGR and FYFP, in association with Maharaja Institute of Medical Sciences (MIMS), Nellimarla. The program aimed to create awareness about Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and to provide hands-on training in managing emergencies such as cardiac arrest and choking. Medical experts explained Basic Life Support (BLS) procedures and demonstrated CPR techniques on a mannequin, including chest compressions, rescue breathing, and the Heimlich manoeuvre. Participants actively practiced under expert supervision, gaining practical knowledge and confidence. The session was effectively coordinated by FYFP Coordinator Dr Ksn Raju, NSS Programme Officer Mr. N. Shanmukha Rao and FYFP and NSS Volunteers, ensuring its smooth and successful conduct.
