About

We, the team NSS UNIT SNIST, of Unit-1 Team-6 in collaboration with Unit-2 Team-10, Unit-1 Team-3, and Unit-2 Team-4, conducted a Buttermilk Distribution Drive at the Ghatkesar ORR with the aim of providing refreshment and relief to people working outdoors during the hot summer season. Our experience and observations from this meaningful service activity are presented in this report.

              The event began with the enthusiastic participation of all the volunteers, who gathered at the distribution point and made the necessary arrangements. As the summer heat was intense, we observed that many roadside workers, shopkeepers, drivers, and daily wage laborers were continuously exposed to high temperatures while carrying out their work. Understanding their need for hydration and refreshment, we distributed chilled buttermilk to them throughout the event. Our primary focus for the day was to promote the spirit of community service while ensuring that people working under the harsh sun received some comfort and refreshment. The volunteers actively participated in distributing the buttermilk and engaging with the beneficiaries, making the event both productive and fulfilling. The positive atmosphere created during the drive reflected the values of compassion, teamwork, and social responsibility.

                Overall, the Buttermilk Distribution Drive was a successful and memorable experience for all of us. The happiness and satisfaction seen on the faces of the workers and travelers made the event truly meaningful. This initiative not only helped us contribute to the well-being of the community but also inspired us to continue organizing such service-oriented activities in the future. Through this event, we strengthened our commitment to helping those in need and promoting a more caring and supportive society.
