The School of Biosciences and Biotechnology at Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University organized a pledge ceremony under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan and Nasha Mukt Jammu and Kashmir Abhiyaan to raise awareness against substance abuse and promote a healthy, responsible society. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, faculty members, staff, and Heads of various departments, who collectively took an oath to support the campaign and spread awareness against drug abuse. The ceremony highlighted the vital role of educational institutions in shaping responsible youth and fostering social commitment. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. A. A. Shah, Associate Dean, emphasized the importance of such initiatives in motivating young minds towards positive change. The programme concluded with a call for continued engagement in awareness activities to strengthen the vision of a drug-free society.
