A Drug-Free Pledge (Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat Pledge and Marathan ) is organized at college campus to create awareness among students and staff about the harmful effects of drug abuse and to promote a healthy and drug-free society. On this occasion, the Principal/Head of the Institution addressed the students and staff and highlighted the serious physical, mental and social consequences of drug abuse. The participants were motivated to stay away from all forms of drugs and to spread awareness regarding the ill effects of substance abuse. After that a rally can be organized against drug abuse to spread awareness about the harmful effects of drugs. An awareness lecture was delivered by S. Mewa Singh, Coach, who sensitized the NSS volunteers to the harmful consequences of drug addiction and emphasized the importance of discipline, physical fitness, and a healthy lifestyle. He encouraged the volunteers to actively participate in spreading awareness about drug abuse and to motivate young people to make positive choices. His address highlighted the significant role of youth in building a drug-free society. Around 130 volunteers are present in this activity. After that refreshment are given to the volunteers. At that time NSS Programme Officer Mr. Deepak Jindal, Ms. Neeraj Mittal, Ms. Himani and Dr. Kamaljeet Kaur are present there.
