On 23/03/2026, a group health education program on Prevention of Anemia was conducted at Community Health Center, Kaggalipura, by 7th-semester BSc Nursing students from RV College of Nursing, The session was attended by Medical Officer Mr. Anil Kumar and Administrative Medical Officer Mr. Mohan, who supervised the event. The program commenced with a prayer song by Ms. Sona Sabu and Ms. Shivasree, followed by a welcome speech by Ms. Varsha. Students performed a role play demonstrating anemia prevention, causes, symptoms, and the importance of iron-rich foods, narrated by Ms. Varshitha. Audio-visual aids were used to enhance understanding, emphasizing dietary sources like green leafy vegetables, dates, jaggery, groundnuts, pulses, and vitamin C-rich fruits. The audience actively participated, asked questions, and clarified doubts. The session was well received by patients and parents. It concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Varshitha, and refreshments were served.
