Out of the five priority areas under Draft National Youth policy 2021 to catalyse widespread action on youth development, Health, Fitness and Sports is one area that aims to develop a culture of fitness and sports among Youth and achieve National and International eminence 

Sports serve as the perfect entry point activity for MY Bharat Volunteers and serve as a platform for facilitating interaction of volunteers from different villages under the banner of MY Bharat. With the inclusion of traditional and rural sports popular in the region this program has the potential to mobilize youth in large numbers.
