On 21 June 2026, Government Law College, Ajmer organized a special Yoga Session to celebrate the 12th International Day of Yoga 2026. The programme was conducted in alignment with this year's theme, “Yoga for Healthy Ageing,” which emphasizes the role of yoga in promoting physical fitness, mental well-being, emotional balance, and healthy living across all age groups.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from faculty members, administrative staff, and students of the college. The yoga session was conducted under the guidance of Ms. Asha Kachhawaha and Shri Ranjeet, who demonstrated various yoga postures and breathing exercises, including Pranayama, Tadasana, Vajrasana, Bhujangasana, Anulom-Vilom, and other yogic practices. Participants actively performed the exercises and learned about the importance of yoga in maintaining physical health, mental peace, flexibility, and overall wellness.
The programme aimed to create awareness about the benefits of regular yoga practice and encourage participants to adopt yoga as an integral part of their daily lives. The session highlighted the significance of yoga in stress management, improving concentration, enhancing immunity, and supporting a healthy and active lifestyle.
The event concluded with a collective pledge by all participants to continue practicing yoga regularly and to spread awareness about its benefits among their families and communities.
