Bombay Teachers’ Training College (BTTC) hosted an insightful session titled “Calm Mind Strong Leadership: Insights from Swami Veditananda” on 11th August 2025 at the Colaba campus. Swamiji, a monk of the Ramakrishna Order and head of the Polytechnic College and Skill Development Centre at Belur Math, shared valuable perspectives on education and leadership. He emphasized the “Core Values of a Teacher” through the phrase “Know what to teach John and Know John”, highlighting the importance of understanding both content and students. Discussions covered balancing contentment and financial aspirations, maintaining calmness, and the mindful use of AI in education. The session concluded with Swamiji’s inspiring anecdote on actions and their long-term impact, leaving participants enriched and motivated.
