The campaign focuses on finding all missing TB cases through proactive screening, chest X-rays, and advanced diagnostic tests among vulnerable populations.

Reduction of TB Deaths

It aims to reduce TB-related deaths by providing personalized patient care, nutritional support, regular follow-up, and management of other health conditions.

Prevention of New TB Infections

Preventive treatment is provided to high-risk groups such as household contacts of TB patients and people living with HIV after screening for active TB.

Community Participation (Jan Bhagidari)

The campaign encourages active involvement of citizens, NGOs, institutions, and volunteers to spread awareness, reduce stigma, and support TB patients.

Goal of a TB-Free India

It is part of India's effort under the National TB Elimination Programme to eliminate tuberculosis through the principles of Detect, Treat, Prevent, and Build.
