As a part of Independence Day Celebrations-2026, a painting Contest on the theme “भारत: 1947 से भारत: 2047 (India 1947 vs India 2047)” will be conducted by Ministry of Defence in coordination with MyGov and MY Bharat during 01st June-15th July, 2026 in order to create awareness about the recent developments and achievements of our nation encompassing all significant domains.

Salient features:
(i) Participants are to showcase painting(s) on the theme “भारत: 1947 से भारत: 2047 (India 1947 vs India 2047)” depicting developments and achievements of India.
(ii) Top three short listed winners will be awarded prize money of Rs. 15,000/- each.
(iii) There will be Twenty (20) Consolation Prizes of ₹5000/- each.
(iv) Top 200 participants along with one companion (spouse/guardian/relative etc.) would be issued e-invitation to witness Independence Day Celebration to be held on 15th August, 2026 at Red Fort, Delhi.

Terms & Conditions
(a) Participant must be a Citizen of India.
(b) An individual can participate only one time.
(c) Top 200 participants would be issued e-invitation for witnessing Independence Day Ceremony-2026 at Red Fort, Delhi along with one companion (guardian/ spouse/relative etc.)
(d) The top 200 participants, selected for issuing invitation for Independence Day Ceremony-2026 at Red Fort, Delhi will be requested to provide following mandatory details in respect of self and one companion (guardian/ spouse/relative etc.)
• Salutation
• Name (English & Hindi)
• Date of Birth
• Mobile Number
• Email ID
• Nationality
• Government ID Type & Number (Aadhaar Card/Voter ID Card/Driving Licence/Passport, etc.)
• Residential Address

Note: Children below 5 years of age are not permitted as companions.

(e) Participant will, therefore, require to provide only valid e-mail & mobile as further correspondence, if any, seeking the details for issuing e-Invitation & payment of winning prize will only be made via e-mail. Therefore, participant is requested to keep regular watch on his/her e-mail.
(f) One mobile number & one email ID cannot be used by more than one participant for one competition/quiz/Contest during IDC-2026.
(g) On receipt of e-mail or call from Ministry of Defence three winners will require to submit requisite documents for releasing winning prize/payment viz. ID proof & Bank Details, copy of cancelled cheque etc.
(h) It may be noted that all the expenses related to travel, lodging, food etc. to visit Delhi for witnessing Independence Day Ceremony at Red Fort on 15th August, 2026 will be borne by the individual himself/herself.
(i) However, traveling in Delhi Metro toward to & fro journey for witnessing the Parade will be free of charge on showing e-invitation at any of Delhi Metro Station.
(j) Use of any unfair/spurious means/ malpractices including but not limited to impersonation, double participation etc. during the participation in the competition, will result rejection of participation.
(k) No copy right image should be used and an undertaking regarding the same to be furnished. Non-furnishing of the same will render the selection null and void. Furthermore, the organizers of the competition or any agency acting on their behalf reserves all rights in this regard.
(l) Employees, directly or indirectly connected with organizing the competition, are not eligible to participate in the contest. This ineligibility also applies to their immediate family members.
(m) Winners will be announced on the basis of screening of the entries by a designated Screening Committee in Ministry of Defence. Decision of the Screening Committee may not be challenged further in any mode.
(n) Competition is being simultaneously held on MyGov as well as MyBharat platform. A single combined result of winners will be issued for both the platforms i.e. MyGov and MyBharat. Participants are required to participate in only of these platforms.
