Sudden cardiac arrest continues to be one of the leading causes of preventable deaths worldwide. Compression-only Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) is a lifesaving technique that can play a critical role in reviving individuals following sudden cardiac arrest. To promote awareness about the importance of CPR, the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare is observing a nationwide CPR Awareness Week from 13th to 17th October 2025. The Quiz aims to enhance understanding and encourage active participation of citizens across all sectors in learning the life-saving skill of CPR. The objectives of this quiz are: a) To create awareness about the importance of early recognition of cardiac arrest and timely response through CPR. b) To educate the public on the correct technique and key steps involved in performing Compression-only Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). c) To instill a sense of responsibility and confidence among citizens to act promptly in saving lives during medical emergencies.
